The Moose and Maple Lodge

Great location, communication was excellent couldn’t ask for any quicker response. Room was fantastic very clean. Checking is very easy and parking although on a first come basis there is more than enough parking spaces for everyone. Very well run establishments, I will recommend to friends and will definitely stay here again.

Walkable to main part of Southlake.

Arrived to find 20-25 flies in the queen suite and droppings of some kind on window sill. Closer looking revealed the place is in dire need of deep clean. Very dirty floor, window sills, and other areas and queen suite appears to be one of only units that is not remodeled. Furniture was very worn and dilapidated. They moved us to family suite and offered to help move our stuff but nobody ever showed up. The family suite was better but same story with the cleanliness. Clean your units deeply periodically to ensure less bad reviews. Couch was bit worn and tired looking, not the most clean. Also, they definitely have mice as several times we could hear scratching and things running around in attic/ roof.

Turn key Operation. This humble Lodge has a central location. Priced right and quiet. Full size fridge and stove for heating leftovers or breakfast. Very close to lake Tahoe and the public beach is just to walk down the street.

The pool has been closed for two years, but if you are brave in the month of May, you can always walk to the lake. I DO suggest the "Polar Bear Plunge" . Check with your Doctor first!!!
