Grade 2 Listed Converted Church, Within 750yrds to Southsea Beach

Very spacious, lovely rooms, good storage space, beds mostly comfortable. Nice touches like coffee machine and pods, milks and toiletries. Kitchen reasonably well equipped. Good to have free parking nearby.

Carpets and walls were rather stained and tired-looking. One of the beds in the downstairs room has a very saggy mattress, stove top coffee maker was missing a part. There was a problem with the remote control which we reported. A few items were damaged - cheese grater and a toilet brush were broken. We have stayed here before (August 2022) but didn't realise till we saw the sign in the hallway that we could have claimed 10% discount. A good location but very noisy at night - gaps in the front door didn't help with this.

Nothing to like or dislike. Such bad communication with property agent. Booking should stop working with such properties. Been asked to avoid booking and do direct approach because of charges. One week later still don’t have my deposit back. So annoying chasing again.

Carpets need cleaning. Not enough mugs for drinks only 4. It was very noisy outside in the evening. Renewing the old entrance doors would help block the noise and make the downstairs bedroom more comfortable
