"Good but not Great"

Very nice and clean hotel with a friendly staff. Noise level was occasionally an issue, we could here anyone that walked in the hallway and could also occasionally here the people in the rooms adjacent to ours. The kitchenette was very nice to have but we did have an issue where we ran out of body wash and towels, and the request made through the app was not responded to. Parking is expensive but it was nice to have a covered garage close to the elevators. The rooftop pool was nice but not heated enough to be comfortable during the cold weather. Van Rhyder was ok but definitely overpriced. Overall a good stay.

"Nice Touches"

Great location across from the Delta Center with nicely sized rooms. The omelette station for breakfast and free happy hour is a nice touch. Had the best old fashioned up at the rooftop bar.

Last minute booking for my husband and I to celebrate New Years downtown! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and the complimentary breakfast was delicious especially the omelette station! We got a later check out at no extra cost! Would highly recommend

"Base camp in SLC"

Great base camp in salt lake! When traveling with my family it is always nice to have a kitchen to do some of our own cooking. This hotel is located downtown and has easy access to all areas of slc. The major downside is there are not a lot of family friendly eateries near by unless you want high end. The staff were very welcoming and check in was smooth. For breakfast variety of options including yogurt bar, oatmeal, omelet station and your usual variety of bread. The downside is their coffee machine was out of order so they only had brewed coffee and the pool was closed the first night due to maintenance. However when the pool is up and running it is an amazing view and warm in the winter! Tip: check in first to get your underground parking pass. Also note there are no waffles/pancakes so some children might be disappointed. If you are looking for the hydration station (at least on 5th floor) it is located in the LeMeridian side of the hotel which is a bit confusing. The beds are comfortable and the room is the typical element setup. Overall, a good stay.
