Element by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown

Very cool vibe. The folks working the front desk were really friendly and helpful. The room was well-appointed and more upscale than I expected. Rooftop bar is very cool and the food at Adelaide was superb. Parking was easy. And free wine tasting M-Th was delightful. I travel regularly for work and this was a lot nicer than most similarly priced hotels. Would definitely stay here again.

It was perfect. I only had about six hours and slept the whole time. Quiet and comfy!

The front desk staff, especially the woman who checked us in, was the best ever. When you first check in, the first person you meet is so important; however, it is rare to have someone as perfect as she. I forgot her name becasue i never remeber anyones name, she is a standout

From start to finish, everything was amazing. The rooms were incredibly spacious, modern, and spotless — easily some of the biggest hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. It was also so quiet, which made it easy to actually relax. The rooftop pool was a highlight — beautiful views and such a great vibe. The entire property felt clean, calm, and well cared for, and the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming every time my kids hubby or I interacted with them. The location is perfect — downtown, walkable, and convenient enough that we didn’t even need a rental car. Having the on-site restaurant was a huge plus, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was just peaceful and comfortable. Truly an excellent stay all around. We loved everything about this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend.

The hotel was beautiful, loved our room!! Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although there are coffee makers in the room, was disappointed that the property doesn't offer complimentary coffee in the lobby at least during breakfast hours. We did love and enjoy the complimentary wine and cheese for happy hour. Nice touch! Also, the complimentary tea in the evening was lovely. The staff was wonderful, from the young lady at the front desk who assisted us at check in and check out and the lovely gentleman serving the wine. He is definitely an asset!! The town of Salt Lake was quite boring so that would be the only reason we won't be back.

I really enjoy the Element hotel. It has become my go-to accommodation when working in downtown Salt Lake. Their staff is always friendly - in fact, Trish at the front desk always remembers my name and has everything ready for me before I even arrive. I really appreciate that personal touch. I visited the Van Ryder rooftop bar this visit and happened to catch their weekly line dance lessons which were a ton of fun. We had the Death by Dessert too and it was delicious. This hotel has a great atmosphere, is close to everything you'd want to do in downtown SLC, and is always so clean. Parking is also nice in their underground parking structure with direct access to the hotel. I've stayed at this hotel over 20 times and every time it's a great experience. I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking to visit Salt Lake City.
