Love Hotels Voyageur by OYO at International Falls MN

We arrived very late, after 11:00 pm. We booked this hotel because it had the only room available in International Falls. When we tried to check in the frustrated clerk said we were the 20th group he had to turn away because he didn’t have any more rooms! We were stuck at nearly midnight in a remote city with no available rooms. It was absolutely awful.

They wouldn’t let us in! Had a confirmation from Travelocity. Said Travelocity shouldn’t be doing online reservations with this property. 4 other couples behind me were turned away! This property is a joke and nothing but a scam! Stay away. I would recommend booking a hotel in person and not through an online party. The hotel was in desperate need of work and run down, likely not habitable. Doesn’t look anything like the pictures.

Nothing. The hotel was closed. I could not get a room.

Everything. I booked in good faith through Booking.com, and they did not know the hotel was no longer in operation. I requested a refund from them and have not received it.

Said our reservation was cancelled we had to some where else I need my money back.

The price of the stay was at or near the top of all lodging in International Falls, MN but the property

Everything was locked up and I was not able to get checked in. I have a stop on my credit card. Pretty sure this is a fraud.

In our first room the handle blew off the shower so there was water spraying all over the bathroom. They quickly moved us to a different room which had a bag over where the smoke detector should be. They never did shut off the water in that bathroom so there was no hot water in the hotel. That happened on a sat morning and we left on Monday with the water still pouring all over.
