"this would have been an ideal stay but for the inadequate heating ."

4.0

Ideal little terrace house for our needs , especially with 2 lounges.

The house was very cold and maybe not suitable for a Winter let. The windows are sash single glaze, and there was a gap at the top of the front door and gaps at the back door so very difficult with a wind to keep warm.consequently the bedding felt cold on the first night.

"Good apart from illness."

8.0

Disappointed only one teabag for two of us at afternoon arrival! Coffee machine was broken. Would have preferred a downstairs toilet. The cracks in the kitchen door need repairing with slivers of wood and filler.

Everything else was fine and loved closeness to beach and town. Could have helped a drawn map to the location. I have lots of indoor pictures to share to maybe come again with family. Couldn't help hubby being ill.

"Amazing location but needs some TLC"

5.0

Fantastic location

The house was pretty dirty and could do with a proper deep clean - I found a nail clipping in my bed, the bathroom had black mould and when I moved the coasters in the living room there was coffee stains stuck on the table underneath. The travel cot which we were told was provided was broken/insufficient (only part of it was in the box, the rest was missing so couldn’t put it together) meaning my 7week old baby had to sleep in bed with me which I felt very uncomfortable about. The back door also didn’t seem to lock so we felt rather unsafe the whole weekend.

"Comfortable, bright and an excellent location."

8.0

The location was excellent, close to the beach, the high street and the pubs but also very quite and overlooking a lovely green area. The house was very nice, typical of the era (quite steep stairs for instance) but presented nicely and set out very comfortably. It contained all the white goods etc that may be needed and was bright. There was a second sitting room, with board games, at the top of the house which my teens snuck off too when they’d had enough of myself and my mum, who travelled with us. There’s also a great dressing room area outside the bathroom. My daughter and I (who lost out to my 6’ boys and ended up in the bunk room) used this to spread out our belongings. The main bedroom was very nicely presented and was large and comfortable. We had a couple of small issues at the beginning but contact with the Suffolk team was prompt and they sorted everything very quickly. I would definitely stay again.

The coffee machine is a Nescafé dolce gusto which I now know is not a style I like (prefer the nespresso machine with any make of pods) but the house has a good sized cafetière and the two magpies bakery around the corner does excellent espresso.
