Lockwood Hotel

Perfect town to stop in for a night or two while traveling. Waterville has everything including the best Indian cuisine restaurant. We have come to stay a couple of times simply for Jewel of India and the Lockwood. The Lockwood’s rooms are a luxury feel without the ridiculously high cost. There is a restaurant inside of the hotel. The menu is small but tasteful, incorporating locally sourced ingredients and a perfect variety of options to choose from for anyone. After dinner or before, be sure to have a drink at the hotel bar which is directly in between the lobby and restaurant. Try a seasonal special.! The decor and overall vibe of this hotel and overall area is “Modern Maine”, if you will-and perfectly complimentary of one another. You don’t find many places like this in Mid to northern Maine. Truly a solid choice for anyone solo or with family / friends.

Wanted to plan a celebration of life lunch reception the event planner is Henrietta unfortunately she doesn’t get back to you leaving several email's and phone messages when I finally made contact she still didn’t seem interested in planning anything she is not qualified for this position and on top of not being available she is rude I’m not sure why she is there the Lockwood is a higher end hotel you would think they would have more qualified and professional people

The Lockwood is a great hotel. We've stayed there on multiple occasions. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel welcome. The rooms are well-designed and clean. They have a great bar and the restaurant is definitely worth a visit as well. I'd highly recommend staying there if you're in the Waterville, ME area. Thank you.

Multiple stays while in the area for college visits. Highly recommend for modern, spacious rooms, impeccable cleanliness and genuinely friendly staff. The service and attention to detail make this a stand out among other boutique hotels. EV charging available which is a well-received bonus, as well as a charming fitness room open 24/7 and an aesthetically-beautiful lobby/bar/restaurant.

As the title says, you walk in and it is just a high end feel and you feel like you are in a clean and well kept place. Fire places create a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment you walk into the check in area. We checked in with a kind gentleman and checked out with an equally kind young lady. The room was a corner room on the third floor overlooking Main Street. Although right over the road it was peaceful and we had a good nights sleep. The curtains kept the light out well! Oh, and did I mention CLEAN? They have a great staff here that take pride in where they work from the interactions and the appearance of the entire place. We were extremely happy with our choice to stay here and look forward to doing it again!

Dinner in the restaurant was excellent although the price was high. The staff in the restaurant were exceptional. The heating system in the room was loud. The shower looked great but was only okay. The location is awesome and has parking, only steps away from the Waterville Opera House.

The Lockwood is conveniently located in Waterville. The staff, beginning with the front desk, are friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and tastefully appointed. Our family enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the restaurant. Good food, good staff and an overall nice experience.
