"Best place to stay in central Maine."

9.0

Very comfortable. Staff was excellent. Lobby has a great fireplace and bar.

Room prices vary slightly by weekday/weekend with higher weekend pricing. This is a small town, not much different from day-to-day.

"Finest food (Front and Main) and Lodging in Waterville"

10.0

We're a local family; this was our first stay at the Lockwood Hotel for New Year's Eve (dinner at Front and Main) and we all were delighted with everything. We invited my brother and his wife to dine with us and we were so grateful for the excellent cuisine, attentive service and cozy, upscale vibe. This will be our go-to local getaway the next time we're in Waterville!

"Highly recommend the Lockwood Hotel"

10.0

The Lockwood Hotel is a chic modern hotel with a very cozy vibe. Especially with the fireplace lounge areas decked out with festive holiday decorations. The spacious room was beautiful, super clean, very quiet and had all the amenities you can expect from a 5 star hotel. The Staff was super friendly, very accommodating and knowledgeable of things to do locally. I was traveling with my aunt and we felt safe in the downtown area; being within walking distance to shops and restaurants made our stay at the Lockwood very enjoyable. The AAA rate was 215.00 including all fees and taxes and was well worth it. Would highly recommend!

"Perfect 10"

10.0

I’m an old Hotel Man that just retired after 53 years in the Hotel and Hospitality Business and I give the Lockwood Hotel in Waterville Maine a Perfect 10. My compliments to Alyssa, Nick and Spenser on the front desk for making my stay at the Lockwood Hotel so enjoyable. And many thanks to bartenders Alec and Aaron and waitstaff Anika and also Summer who kept my room so clean. And good food at Front & Main, really liked the breakfast French Toast and my dinners were very good too. This is a wonderful Hotel and a very friendly staff, they really make you feel at home. And the guest rooms are super clean and very modern and nicely furnished. And it’s a great downtown location and just a two minute walk to the Waterville Opera House. So put the Lockwood Hotel in Waterville Maine on your list of places to visit, it’s a True Maine Gem. Thank You, Tim Lewis

"Stylish Hotel, Solid Stay, Needs Better Tech and Ordering Options"

10.0

I stayed at the Lockwood Hotel during a business trip supporting the Toyota dealership in Augusta, and overall it is a very nice property with a great look and feel. A colleague recommended it since the Hilton and Marriott options in Augusta are not the best. My biggest callout is the TV setup because the casting feature did not work, so I could not cast Netflix or YouTube TV from my phone or iPad, and the only built-in apps available were YouTube and two others I had never heard of. Most hotels let you sign into Netflix directly, so having that available would make the guest experience much better, and TVs that pull slightly away from the wall would allow guests to use an HDMI cord when needed. I also wish the onsite restaurant offered online ordering with the option to have food brought directly to the room. When traveling alone, you do not always want to sit in a restaurant by yourself, and sometimes you just want to order dinner without talking to anyone, so that would elevate the experience in a big way. Parking across the street is not ideal but expected for a downtown area. My bathroom sink drained slowly, which I reported to the front desk, but that is an easy fix and not something that would keep me from coming back. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will actually be returning this week for business.
