Hotel Don Carlos

The hotel is lovely, clean and in a great location.

I was disappointed with the breakfast. I run a tour company and need accommodations that include breakfast. The breakfast was fine. However, it says it's at 8 am and the hot food did not arrive until 8:30. We need to be on the road by 8-8:15, and unfortunately, this makes this property unacceptable for future bookings. That aside, everything was great. It is a shame as this is a fantastic hotel.

Nos hospedamos dos noches, la primera noche llegamos directo al hotel y me cobraron el triple del valor de la habitación por la alta demanda y los precios los elevan mucho, la segunda noche realice la reservacion en la app y fue a costo accesible, habitación mas amplia y camas mas grandes, limpieza había tierra en la habitación, en pisos y abajo de las camas.No cuentan con estacionamiento, y la persona del estacionamiento cobra por cualquier cosa extra(estacionamiento publico frente al hotel y los del hotel te recomiendadn dejar tu auto ahi).

Always love that they start with hot breakfast, always on time, they are quick to make last minute changes if your not satisfied with the room, if you need anything they are always there to make you feel at home.

There is not much to change from Don Carlos because if there is a hick up, they are always willing to work with you.

I called to confirm my PAID reservation a day before and the young woman who was there confirmed that yes, it's ready and everything. The next day my father and brother arrive with their itinerary number and the young woman says: Yes the reservation is here but .... "It is not paid yet ", you cannot have an itinerary number if you have not pay before(at least on the application that I used). This is FRAUD, at the end they did not stay there because they wanted to charge them for a double room at $1,800 MXN, when the single room was already paid for $1,000 MXN. I am not happy or satisfied at all. Very Bad service and they don't even try to resolve the situation. Never to consider stay there in the future if I visit Morelia.
