This property needs a full renovation. Everything is very old. The beds was good, the sheets was clean.

Brusque tone at check-out due to key card replacement, adjacent sidewalks and roads had jackhammers, tampers, and heavy vehicles making noise and dust. Apologies or discounts were not offered; notice of the noise and dust was not provided at time of booking or subsequently on arrival.

Construction hard to manoeuvre around

The staff are great but the property is old, which is ok as it is beautiful old building, but it is dirty. The carpets on the stairs are filthy & in the bedrooms to the point you don't want to walk around your room without shoes on. The furniture is old & broken, the fridge or lamp didn't work.

Construction on the street made it difficult to get in. No Front Desk staff, served by restaurant staff A/C was quiet ++

The TV did not have a remote that could turn it on when we arrived. Staff tried to help but gave up. I figured out how to turn on the TV manually and then could use the remote they gave us for the cable box. No elevator. This is not the hotel's fault. Thankfully the first floor is the ground floor (no hotel rooms) and there are only 3 floors and we packed lightly. The air conditioner actually worked and was quiet at night. This was really appreciated during the heat wave. I had to fix the toilet to get it to flush during the night. Right now(late July 2025) Town Square is being renovated so the sidewalk is ripped up. It's a long walk from the parking lot to the hotel across dirt and gravel. You have to CARRY your luggage, you cannot roll it. Not the hotel's fault. Hopefully downtown renos done at some point in the next few months. A reasonably priced hotel that is clean if you're willing to not have all the ammenities of a much newer more expensive hotel. The downtown location is a real plus for the property.

Was NOT what we were expecting! Booked a king room and got queen beds. Carpet old and worn and not clean. Room slanted so badly we almost fell getting to the bathroom! No elevator for anyone who could not do the 2 flights of stairs. Very, very old and worn. Beds clean enough but rest of the room questionable for cleanliness. Yoel rack wax broken and missing. Staff not very friendly. Very minimal continental breakfast.
