A lovely hostel in one of Pico Island's most cool and beautiful villages - Lajes. The staff was incredibly welcoming during check-in, providing multiple suggestions on places to eat and visit. The hostel kitchen is well-equipped for cooking simple meals, with a fridge, microwave, oven, induction hob, small appliances, and kitchenware/cutlery. The decoration is modern and of good taste, with books everywhere :) The rooms were reasonably sized and very clean, with large windows that provided a lot of natural light.

The island seems to have a problem with cockroaches and the hostel didn't escape it. Although they had a few anti-cockroach traps/devices along the corridors, we had an invasion of small cockroaches in our bathroom on both nights :(
