Engenho Hostel

King size bed, super comfortable. The room we stayed in had so much light, big windows, spacious. This property is located in the heart of Lajes do Pico, small town, and it's so cute, full of little bars and restaurants, is very central and has everything you need in a walking distance. Barbara received us there (before check in time) and she was amazing - explained us everything, showed us around and even gave us some tips on where to go.

The only thing I would say was less positive was the fact that you can hear other guests walking up and down the staircase, and even inside their rooms. We were lucky with the other guests because they were very polite.

The discussion with owner was easy and smooth. Barbara contacted us a few days before our arrival to organise the check-in. The room was very confortable, clean and beautifully decorated. Furthermore, the hostel is located in the center of Lajes do Pico with some very good restaurants near by. Also, there is a natural pool a few minutes away by foot. It’s perfect!

It's very beautiful and cute accommodation in the middle of Lajes. Very clean and modern.

The refrigerator in the kitchen was hard to open.

You could hear everything the people next room spoke.
