Central Belfast Apartments: University Street

Was big flys was there my kids was very very scared they couldn’t sleep all night.as they agreed they will send me 50% discount via you in my ac i haven’t received any refund still waiting.. as my all two days really really disturbed was not good experience.

Was not clean properly and and big black flyes inside the apartmen.

We liked the location which was in a quieter area of Belfast in the Queen’s district (bar drunk students every night at 1/2am that is!). It was clean throughout apart from the dislike below. Comfortable beds and lovely quilts, definitely duck and down rather than the usual hypoallergenic rubbish you get in most places.

First impression was the disgusting smell in the bathroom and to be honest it tainted our stay. Smelt like a drain problem. What we did not also appreciate was the checkout instructions which included washing everything and putting it away plus emptying the bin and placing it in a position we could not decipher. We paid very generously for this accommodation we did not expect these negatives.

Property was situated in a good location as can walk to the main areas within 20 minutes. Apartment was clean and modern enough.

Bed was uncomfortable and could feel the springs when lying down. A lot of hassle in terms of a security deposit holding fee. Ours was £250 and it takes 48 hours for them to release this payment after check out, not taking into account it can take your bank 10 days to process the payment. They informed us that their staff were busy and couldn’t check the property when we asked if this can be released after 24 hours as the property was left in good condition. 2 days after the funds were released and we were treated like they were doing us a favour releasing our own money. When trying to fill in the check in form, we experienced difficulty with this and the worker on the phone was rude and unhelpful.
