Kaila Na Ua Resort

My husband and I stayed 2 weeks at Kaila Na Ua and loved it so much it’s top of our list for our next holiday . Before I describe Kaila Na Ua I have to mention the owners Roz and Warren who were exceptional hosts along with their lovely staff. They are kind, helpful and a lot of fun, there if you need anything without being intrusive. They helped us in so many aspects of our stay guiding us to tours and places best suited to us ,even ringing ahead to tour operators to check if there were any difficult steps or steep area that would be difficult for my husband who had knee surgery . .To say we were looked after and pampered is an understatement . Kaila na Ua is beautiful set in lush gardens overlooking the ocean. Our studio was immaculate containing all we needed and an extra comfortable bed so we slept really well . Sliding doors opened onto our balcony only a few steps down to the beautiful pool. Being amid large gardens it’s really peaceful,the main sound being the sea. Our studio was cleaned daily and a treat to return to immaculate and decorated with fresh tropical flowers. A variety of great restaurants are all a short walk away and a local bus passes every 15 minutes to go into the town.. We were given a bus pass with credit and had a lot of fun travelling with the super friendly locals. We were fortunate to be able to enjoy a great variety of tours all of which offer pick up and drop off at your accomodation which we found a better option than self drive . We had a lovely variety of tours to pristine beaches ,reefs ,lots of snorkelling and days of just relaxing , lazy brunch , happy hour and glorious sunsets. I even braved my first zip line , not bad for a 60 year old ! We’ve travelled a lot and Kaila Na Ua has aced it and earned their awards .

Fantastic boutique resort! The owners Roz and Warren are charming and are very attentive to everything, they take care of the details and that makes the difference, they welcome you in their home! Salote works with them, she is also charming and treated us very well! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, are designed and decorated with great taste and have a terrace overlooking the pool and with fantastic sea views! We loved watching the sunsets there, chatting and having a drink with the whole family! In the hotel itself they leave you bicycles and in the mornings we used to use them to go for breakfast at a very nice cafe nearby. They also leave you paddle surf boards and kayaks to go for a ride along the beach and get close to the reef. Near the hotel there are several restaurants with different types of food, Roz and Warren explain everything you might need and help you organize the activities you might be interested in, excursions ..... They are very committed to supporting the local community and we went to visit the village of Salote where they make pottery, they welcomed us very well (thank you all!) and it was a unique experience (no tourists, it was just us!). I could go on explaining things, but the summary is that it is a fantastic place, very well cared for and where they make you feel at home! thank you!

Amazing place, beautiful view, very quiet. Rose and Warner (the owners) were very helpful for booking day trips and scuba diving. A gem in wonderful town

Great hospitality by Rose and Warren. Spacious rooms with great clean/tidy amenities with onsite parking. Spacious pool. One of the if not the best place to stay over if you are budget friendly and understand the meaning of a holiday as you only use the hotel for sleeping. Had no noise unlike other resorts with kids screaming ( kids are kids but peace is peace too 👌) Plenty of food nearby with a stunning view. Close to shops as its only a 5 minute drive to the nearest village and only 10 minutes to Sigatoka. Pizza shop is usually packed and its common to see people from even outrigger to walk down here. Thai shop around the corner with local food on the menu aswell. Can go to beach on hi tide. Would love yo come visit here again with my partner 11/10. Exceptional value and a heartwarming experience!

The location is perfect, a couple of restaurants within walking distance and the view from the apartment was really nice. The place is also nice and quiet for relaxing

We had quite some issues with the shower and water in general. Numerous times there was no water pressure either hot or cold water in the shower. Once the toilet flush was not working due to lack of water. Communication regarding work or issues on the water supply was lacking

Beautiful, quiet small resort surrounded by a magnificent tropical garden with very hospitable owners and staff. Especially loved the owners' emphasis on sustainability and contributing back to and supporting the local community.a

My only minor quibble was with the prepayment system not working meaning we had to pay at the end of our stay. Apart from that everything was excellent!

Kaila Na Ua is a gem of a resort, stylish and tidy, quiet yet accessible to many restaurants. We had a fantastic relaxed stay here, so peaceful away from the crowds. Roz & Warren and their staff were great hosts readily available to help with any inquiries about the area and excursions. Highly recommend and would happily return.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The owners are the most beautiful accomodating people ever, they went above and beyond to make our stay incredible! They even woke up at 4am to say goodbye to us! The place is a beautiful little sanctuary very peaceful, clean with beautiful views! Amazing value for money. I could not recommend this place enough! Beautiful staff and amazing owners who are all about giving back to the community- thank you Roz and Warren! Forever grateful for your incredible hospitality!
