Panglao Alona Suites

have been travelling for a few months now - and this property was one of the more expensive ones but easily the worst!

location - rubbish but our fault for booking it, they let you rent motor bikes… the bikes are such bad quality. dangerous if anything, had to get our bikes tyre repaired straight away and they refused to pay us back. the reception staff!! so rude and stroppy!! shocking really was. the noise level is insane, the people walking about early like 6am and coming in late, the staff talking out side the bedroom doors at 5-7 am with no regard to the people sleeping. I would avoid this hotel!

breakfast was not included in my booking but the very kind host/owner served it free for us. excellent!!!! and above our expectations. The owner was very humble and hands-on in cooking and serving breakfast to the guests. the hotel has a modern style.

probably it would be better if there is tea/coffee/small milk and sugar in the room, especially in the rainy and cold weather. a hair dryer will be a little help too.
