The room was clean and well presented. With modern appliances including a very large smart tv and microwave with electric auto opening door.The building benefitted by have 3 wheely bins so throwing rubbish away was not a struggle

With a booking of over 3 weeks, i expected more than just one wash pod, one rubbish bag and 3 toilet rolls The stay was pleasant and uninterrupted but expensive, this was only reflected by the general high prices in the nearby shops and restaurants.

We absolutely loved how close to everything that apartment was! There is a 24-hour grocery store right down the street, and two metro stations (Lavapiés & Anton Martin) pretty close. We loved walking around and exploring. Tons of good restaurants too... We liked how easy it was to get in the apartment. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio. People were very respectful, it was mostly quiet. We enjoyed the elevator. The bathroom, especially the shower was really nice.

Unfortunately, the couch bed was very uncomfortable... Also, there is a big closet, but no drawers, only one shelf, and no clothes hangers, so that was a little bit annoying. I ended up leaving my things in my suitcase on the bottom of the closet.

The location was really good; and got everything it described.

The power would shut off randomly at night, and the only way we got it back was through the breaker. For a few days the elevator stopped working. And we were staying at the top floor. Apart from that everything else was good

Everything what you need

The location of the apartment was perfect for me. I was in Madrid for a medical procedure and it was easy to get around to my follow-up appointment and physio. Taxis could easily reach the apartment for pickups and there are two metro stations within a 5 minute walk. Plenty of great cafes, groceries and eateries nearby. A very lovely and lively neighborhood. I also appreciated the in-unit laundry, as I needed to do laundry every day and it would have been a pain to have to go to a laundromat.

There's not much by way of cleaning supplies, detergent or garbage bags left in the unit. For our nearly 3 week stay we had to buy these things for ourselves, but it would have been nice if they had provided more than one laundry pod and dishwasher tablet for that long of a stay. Five days before checkout, the elevator went out of service. For an able-bodied visitor this is merely inconvenient. For myself recovering from a lower leg surgery and wheelchair bound, it was almost catastrophic, as I couldn't leave the unit. They were unable to guarantee a date the elevator would be fixed, no one worked on it while I was there, and I ended up having to hire an assistant to help me up and down the stairs for my daily appointments. Limehome only refunded me 25% of each night that the elevator was out of service, but I was out of pocket for much more than that between my wheelchair rental (that I couldn't use) and the assistant. My 70 year old mother had to drag our suitcases down on her own when we checked out. It was really bad. Also, throughout our stay the upstairs unit was very noisy, starting around 10pm until 2-3am. All we could hear was loud TV, stomping with shoes on, and furniture being constantly dragged or moved across the floor. When I complained, Limehome said that the upstairs unit claimed to be simply eating dinner and not doing anything unduly loud. I had gone up to the unit myself to ask if they could be quiet, and witnessed them with both radio and TV on, with kids dragging chairs along the hallway for fun (after midnight). After I insisted Limehome speak to the occupants, the noise just got worse (as if to emphasize that they didn't care). It was a very stressful time for me as I wasn't able to get the rest I needed. While my interactions with customer service were level headed, I didn't really feel they empathized with my situation.

I have really bad allergies and i didn’t have a problem with my allergies the whole time i was there. Very clean place.

Simple but had everything youd need.

The instructions to enter the house for the first time and afterwards were very clear and convenient to use. There are plenty of lovely, local restaurants, supermarkets and grocery stores nearby. The kitchen space was new and very spacious to allocate groceries, and equipped with most kitchenware to conveniently eat at home. The three radiators worked wonderfully during our winter stay.

The noise from other guests going up and down the stairs as well as in their apartments was audible inside. There was no indication of any replenishment of toiletries or cleaning of the house. The historical places such as Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, etc. are still some walking distance away. The Wi-Fi was somewhat slow most of the time due to the poor signal strength.
