The Laurel Oak Inn Bed and Breakfast

The Laurel Oak is a great place to stay. They are the perfect example of a Bed and Breakfast. Exceeded our expectations. If I ever drive through Gainesville again it will definitely be the place I will stay!!

It was a beautiful house and very clean. We enjoyed meeting other people at the B&B. We also enjoyed the complimentary wine and crown royal. The tv channel options were horrible. Everything on tv was very old. I thought the breakfast was just ok.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had to leave our last place due to a power outage. We booked The Laurel Oak Inn B &B after 5:00 pm and arrived @ 7:30. Even though we were a very last minute booking, we were welcomed like old friends. The breakfast was delish. The next day we couldn't get into our lodging until 4 and the Inn let us stay there and relax and read on their beautiful porch. They saved the day for us. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of their hospitality.

It was very clean, but it was my first time I've stayed at a bed and breakfast, it was very noisy and I couldn't sleep well, but everything thing else was nice.

Amazing bathroom, the large jacuzzi tub and powerful shower were great. Host wasn't present for checking in but gave us all the necessary information to make it a breeze. Complimentary wine, drinks and snacks were nice. It was located in the Bed and breakfast district so felt very comfortable. Breakfast soufflé with fresh fruits and English muffins were plentiful. Felt at home in this cozy home.

We booked this last minute and could not be happier. Stephanie who helped my wife make the reservation as a Birthday surprise and Jo Lee the Inn Keeper were both outstanding. Kudos to the Ownership who have these high quality, Professional and Friendly staff. The Rooms were very comfortable and the Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We visited their Sister B & B the Camellia Rose and that looked quaint too. We highly recommend this if you are visiting Gainesville. PS You need to go the the DragonFly for Dinner. Outstanding Sushi.

The owner and their innkeeper and staff made our stay at Laurel Oaks an enjoyable two day visit to Gainesville. It was amazing the attention to detail in every aspect of being the perfect host; from comfortable bedding, well stocked kitchen (available 24 hours), personal needs and friendly atmosphere. - that included two cats on the porch. We will be back.

Wonderful experience! Beautiful room, beautiful house! Wonderful people! So much to see in the Gainesville area. Satchels Pizza is a must see! Pizza was also excellent! So eclectic! As good as the best B+B’s we have stayed at! Everything was perfect!

Dave and Nan are excellent hosts. They greeted us upon arrival and gave as all the privacy we needed but they made sure we knew how to get in touch with them if we needed anything. When I knew we would be coming to Gainesville, my family immediately booked 3 rooms because we knew we would not be disappointed, The Inn is clean and cozy - it feels like home. Nan's breakfast was hearty and delicious and she was able to accommodate my husband's dietary needs. Nan and Dave allowed us to use the dining room to have a family celebration. She knew my daughter was graduating from UF and she decorated the table with Gator memorabilia - such a nice and unexpected touch. The rooms were very clean (I am sensitive to dust but no sneezing!) and I was very comfortable using the claw foot bathtub. We had an excellent experience at the Laurel Oak Inn and we highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.
