The only drawback is that the water in the shower is too slow. It is difficult to rinse the hair clean.

The stay was nice for the time we stayed in town! The room was pretty hot though but understandable because of the heat. Overall a good stay.

It was good. The phone number in the Expedia instructions did not reach anyone. Would have preferred to be able to reach someone.

Emerald Bay Ridge is an 8/10 stay for me. A family member had previously stayed here and recommended it. Some of the notable benefits include its proximity to a shopping center, which is convenient for last-minute purchases or forgotten items. The property features two larger cabins with full kitchens and additional space. I stayed in one of the smaller cabins, which can accommodate 4-5 people, featuring one king bed and two full-size bunk beds. The cabin has a small fridge, one restroom, and modern fixtures, including a microwave and Keurig. However, please note that hot water is limited, so showers should be staggered. The area is great for kids to play, with a gated access to the basketball court behind the fence. We attempted to roast s’mores over the table, but it was experiencing electrical issues or low propane. Keep in mind that there is no room service, as no manager or housekeeper is on the premises. Their main phone line and email are not operational, and the only way to obtain information is through a third-party service. The place was quiet during sleep, although you may hear some car traffic noise from the nearby main road.

Uncomfortable bed, very little water pressure in the shower, small bathroom and bedroom. Would not come back.

I have tried to contact the property several times and I get no response. I asked about parking spaces before we arrived and then we had an issue with the heat being on the whole time and not being able to turn it off. I messaged the property and no response. I even tried to call and got a busy signal every time I tried. I also tried to reply to emails they sent me and I cannot even get to a page to be able to contact them.

Absolutely loved our stay at Emerald Bay Village. The beds and bedding were SO comfortable. The shower was hot with great pressure. The set up included everything you need to eat in. It was wonderful. Kim was so sweet to go get us propane for the BBQ when it ran out so we could make breakfast. We will definitely be staying again!

"A quaint, modern cabin with an ideal location"

10.0

We had a 2 night stay in the Vikingsholm cabin (studio size, king bed plus bunk bed), and were so pleased! While this is a small cabin for a family of 4, we weren't indoors much except for sleeping. It's Lake Tahoe, the point is to be outdoors! The host was very communicative and helpful, it was an easy door code to get in/out, and the cabin was very clean and modern inside. The location just south of the "Y" at Tahoe is ideal for going to eat on the main street towards Stateliness, or to get to Emerald Bay, Pope Beach, or other locations slightly north. For a family with young kids, the sports equipment in a little pine tree grove out front (cornhole, with badminton rackets, basketballs, footballs) is great; we walked out the back gate of the cabin property into a nice local park to use the equipment. There is a pizza place essentially next door, and many eateries a short walk or drive away. We will happily stay here again, and will continue to avoid the overpriced and crowded lodging in the more populated touristy area of Lake Tahoe.
