Silver Street Motel by OYO

The hotel is closed. No guests allowed. However, there were some people occupying the property who were generous enough to tell me that the city pulled the license from the hotel. Nothing like showing up to a town far from home with a reservation that was booked months in advance, only to be told that you have nowhere to stay! Great job!

Just out of Jail people on Parole , like the Contract that the corporate owners signed with their hotel on Ironwood.

Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights through Expedia. Showed up day of check in only to find door to hotel locked and a sign posted they are temporarily closed. We were never notified in advance of arriving and no one has answered calls yet they took our money upfront! Garbage outside and old equipment laying around. Did not look very good at all from the outside.

Paid reservation. Arrived at motel at 3:30 pm and door was locked with a sign on door stating due to no CPU’s, they could not accept any guests and to call booking site for refund. Left and drove 9 hours back home. Still have not recd a refund despite several calls!!!! Strongly suggest you avoid love motels as well as Booking.com!!! SCAM!!!!!

I got to this motel last night in Hurley Wisconsin, the love oil, and there was a sign on the door saying sorry our computers are done you can't stay here. It's not a whole lot of service left in this world is there?

This place is terrible. The parking lot is full of litter and cigarette butts. The rooms were dirty with cob webs all over the place. The pictures posted are so old the place looks nothing like how they actually look. There is no outlet in the bathroom. I thought the ceiling fan was going to come down and hit one of us, it shook so bad. There was also some shady busines dealings going on as well. Management was friendly when we first arrived. When i dropped the keys off, i said good bye and he grunted back at me. There was nothing they could of done to make the stay better. All near by hotle/motels were either booked our the prices were raised due to it being near the 4th of july holiday. Very unsatisfied customer

I booked 2 nights here weeks in advance for the fourth of July weekend. Showed up to a locked office door with a sign saying "Sorry system is down, not accepting guests," followed with their corporate number, which I called and was on hold for 30 minutes, then hung up on. I reached out again through email. Still no refund after 3 days. It isn't just this OYO location, all OYO locations have been to are super sketchy. This app needs to start refunding customers directly if they are going to advertise questionable rooms to their customers.

Booked a room and was in the parking lot when motel worker comes up and says their system is down and we couldn't stay their. lost 100 bucks because it was non refundable and had to drive 5 hrs back home the motel and booking.com are just crooks will never be using this website and never staying at that motel ever and I will tell everyone that is going up to Hurley not to stay their

Bedspread, sheets, towels were dirty and the carpet was sticky. Paid for three nights, stayed one.
