The venue is across from the bus station. Just a few minuets walk. The host was pleasant, even when we checked in early. The room was clean.

There was no hot water for the shower without asking they had turned it on. This wasn’t great. The internet was slow. The room was hot and there was no fan. Floor tile in the room floor broken and potentially a hazard if walking with no shoes. The traffic noice was a lot and went on all night. No kitchen or any facility to make tea or coffee. (This was my fault I overlooked this when booking.) Breakfast was two rolls, one piece of cheese, one piece salami and margarine. No milk for tea/coffee.

Location was ideal. Security is important. The staff 'Marta' and others made sure to educate us where not to travel. The beaches are close walking down the road and there's huge mall to shop or eat a Windy's burger. Arica is upscale compared to Montanita, Ecuador or some beaches in Peru. We suggest walking the shoreline and enjoying various beaches and restaurants. The Chili's Peso . IE: 5,000 peso = $5.74 dollars. Or 23,000 mil pesos Colomiano.

Beds we're a bit rumpy but we didn't mind, it was fine. I would surely return for 5 more nights. They had about six new beds stacked up and ready to replace the older ones. No food in rooms. The front porch was great to have a beer and watch the cars n people walk by. A good, well organized outfit.

Prefer buffet breakfast. It was served by the staff and had to be notified when we had it. It had very limited quantity, especially the coffee.
