MainStay Suites Lexington I-75

Good visit. Comfortable. Clean. Staff is helpful. I liked that we had a small kitchenette in the room.

Gabriel, the night desk clerk, was exceptional. The morning desk attendant was, ok.

There was garbage under the beds. It didn't look like it had been cleaned in a very, very long time. When I mentioned it to the morning desk attendant, she simply said the hotel has cut their cleaning staff hours and did not have staff two days a week.

Easy parking and nice lobby and that's about it. Poor cleaning of room. Floor was dirty and obviously hadn't been vacuumed. The freezer had some kind of jelly looking like substance in it. Hair on the sheets! Short black hair and long hair! Microwave had something smeared on the front of it. Overall very disappointed!

Location

Extremely dated. No hooks in bathroom to hang wet towels. (We bought our own). Bathroom floor was not clean. Lighting was not good. Was sold as a suite, really isn’t. Paint was bad. I could keep going . People were good, room was horrible.

Close to interstate

The staff couldn’t find my reservation even though I showed to him. Then he booked me a room, and took over an hour to complete the booking and didn’t explain anything to me, only left me standing in front of the counter. I had to ask him to return my phone to me as he didn’t hand it back to me after he looked at my reservation.
