Sunrise Palace Merzouga

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Sunrise Palace, and I must say, it exceeded our expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the friendly and professional staff who made me feel welcome and attended to all my needs. The staff member Mohamed was very helpful and made our stay comfortable and pleasant. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool and the amazing view. The location of the hotel was perfect, easy to access. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities we could have asked for.

I loved everything about the property our manager Mohammed really to excellent care of us, the food the stay the service was excellent please blindly trust them with all your request. I can’t wait to come back to this property again.

We experienced true Berber hospitality from the staff. Moha made us feel at home and went all out even though we were the only guests. He was available when needed but also gave us space. Youssef, the owner, was lovely and took the time to welcome us by telling us the history of the hotel over tea. It felt very personal and authentic and one of the best experiences we had in Morocco. The location was magical right on the edge of the dunes. We did not want to leave!

Nothing, everything was perfect and postcard worthy.

Yousef and his team made this an absolute dream stay for us. The rooms are luxurious, spacious, clean and so beautiful. The pool views are unparalleled! But the highlight was the hospitality - the entire team ensured we felt absolutely at home and made arrangements for activities (camel rides, visiting the nomads, etc) so thoughtfully. It was a wonderful experience getting to learn more about Yoursef's personal journey to becoming a hotelier. 10/10 recommend if you're in Morocco!

food was great. staff was helpful and friendly, responsive when asked for help.

rooms smelt of drains. fine when windows opened but sand storm put pay to keeping them open. also rubbish bin was full up of sued toilet tissues when we check in, not very pleasant.

we had a great stay, thank you so much to all the staff and especially mohamed who took care of us at all times. beautiful hotel, insane views and everything super clean. highly recommend for a great stay in the desert! Also super helpful with organizing trips from Fez and to Marrakech! Thank you everyone!

Small topic but only input would be to implement a system to keep track of what is being discussed beforehand. We scheduled some activities before the stay and were asked to remind the hotel again before the stay. I think these reminders should be made by the hotel not the guest.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were helpful and the views were gorgeous. Our room was a good size! The food was good - home stye cooking, however you don't pick what you eat it's a set menu. But they were very helpful in arranging activities too!

The pillows were a bit hard & it would be nice to see a menu/know what the prices are for food since you aren't selecting it!

The Sunrise Palace was on my pocket list, for years ever since i saw it in a post. The pictures you see all over the web do no true justice to the real look. It is more beautiful than i could ever picture. It is impossible to show you how it was. Imagine trying to take a picture of the moon. The true size and beauty you will not be able to share in a picture you took. The Staff and Management is super generous and customer orientated. The whole experience from checkin to check out was really smooth and pleasant. The food was super delicious and prepared and served with lot of love. Rooms and Interior are very well chosen and combined. I love how they blend the colors and interior with the fabrics and materials. All in all a very good price for value. I can highly recommend a visit here if you have the chance. Beautiful Place.
