Sunrise Palace Merzouga

The Sunrise Palace was on my pocket list, for years ever since i saw it in a post. The pictures you see all over the web do no true justice to the real look. It is more beautiful than i could ever picture. It is impossible to show you how it was. Imagine trying to take a picture of the moon. The true size and beauty you will not be able to share in a picture you took. The Staff and Management is super generous and customer orientated. The whole experience from checkin to check out was really smooth and pleasant. The food was super delicious and prepared and served with lot of love. Rooms and Interior are very well chosen and combined. I love how they blend the colors and interior with the fabrics and materials.

Good comfortable property in the middle of the desert. Clean, with caring staff. Food was fresh and good. Breakfast was excellent.

Very expensive. For the price we paid (almost $350/night) had expected a different level of service. Also the food that we were charged for dinner was very pricey.

Amazing place, amazing people working there. They care about everything, big thank you! We will come back for sure!

If your are looking for a special place for your trip you should visit Sunrise Palace. The best hotel by far of our Morocco trip: everything was perfect but above all every single person working at Sunrise Palace make us feel home: they love the place and tried to make our stay special and unique and definitely it was. We will come back for sure Pep!!! Spectacular meals, the cooker ( sorry I don't remember her name) prepare gluten free bread and traditional breakfast for my husband. Thank you very much for everything.

Absolutely delightful and personal attention to detail from the owners, 2 wonderful brothers straight out of a Berber tribe in the desert! First day we mentioned soup had a little too much cumin and from then on all meals were served low on spices. Food was plentiful delicious and always different meals. Sand dunes were a step out of the pool side door which was great. On our departure day at 2:00 AM Ebrahim packed some egg sandwiches, yoghurt, and orange juice as breakfast for the road and he also guided us out all the way to the main road. Definitely loved it and highly recommend it.

Stunning hotel, well looked after. Amazing pool and very comfortable room. The staff went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Ibrahim should be cloned to every hotel, such a nice person and a model to what hospitality is about!
