The pool area was stunning and we liked that it was very quiet. It was close to Cactus beach club which was really nice.

We were never sure where the staff were which meant we couldn’t rent a scooter and/or ask questions. The location is a bit further from the main area which is good if you prefer a quieter stay but it was a bit of a trek to get to the port, about 25-30 min by car.

The view was very good.

Everything else is worst. No proper maintenance at all. The AC was not working during daytime and was fine during night. There was no daily cleaning of the room. There was ants and lizards. And the staff were not available on premises 24hrs and on site just still sun down. My room door was also broken and was always difficult closing and locking. And finally the biggest disappointment was salt water from all the taps even the wash basin tap was fully salted. How can you give salt water or direct ocean water to guests for their use?

The hotel itself is very beautiful, you get to see the beautiful sea from your room and while sitting in the balcony. We booked the cottage that is on the first floor so there's a pool right outside the room and sea facing.

There was a gecko in the washroom and we are not okay with lizards and geckos being in the rooms we asked for a room downstairs. The one with booked primarily was a cottage with a wooden roof and we were told the geckos would be showing up every now and then so we had to switch. I have heard most people are okay with it being in the room so no biggie for them but it wasnt just for us. Also, the location of the hotel was a bit far and up on the mountain from the main strip of Nusa Penida and Grab does not operate on the island so we had to be back at the hotel by 8-9 since we had hired a full day driver. Thus, we could not enjoy the night life on this island as we thought we would. But if you have a scooter, this can be managed.

Location was so good. Close to diamond beach and easy to get meals arround here Ocean view :)
