Tri Terrace Motel

We liked location and cozy feel with small pond in front. Owner had “campfire” going when we arrived and invited us to join. We were able to park in secure location.

We were upgraded to a room with a king-size bed at no extra charge; however, it appeared that the room had not been cleaned in many areas. It was late and we were exhausted, the bed was clean so we went to sleep. The bed was uncomfortable, and there was a very old air conditioner which emitted a bad smell while operating. The coffee maker was covered in dust and there was a coffee ring in the glass pot. The toilet seat was broken and old, but the shower was nice. This is an older motel with very few upgrades. It is priced very competitively, but don’t expect high-end comfort or amenities. You will see the outdated design and furnishings by my attached pictures.

Clean quiet room to lay our heads for the night. Nothing fancy, just simply what’s was needed.

Our room was quite clean and comfortable. The property could use some "sprucing up." The coffee pot lid was broken. There was no lock on screen patio door. There are a lot of cigarettes butts outside entry door as well as leaves which got tracked into room. IF I had a leaf blower, I would have blown the area in front of customer doors a couple times a day. All in all, it was a very comfortable bed with nice pillows. The desk clerk was very cordial and friendly. The location is also convenient.

This is an older one story country type setting motel and needs to be keep in mind. If you are looking for fancy or modern this not the stay for you. Convenient parking right at your door. Room and bath older but very clean. Mattress amazing. Enjoyed the walk to the pond and swinging on the wooden swing. Many restaurants and shopping within two miles as is exit off I75. The room rates outstanding especially for a one night stay.

The owner checked us in and was amazing, very kind and welcoming.

We loved the pond even though it needed some attention to the algea in there. We didnt like the motorcycle noise. Everyone was exceptionally friendly.

Second time I booked a room in this motel and have no complaints whatsoever. A good place for a stop in northern Michigan.

It has that cozey feel
