Tri Terrace Motel

For the price really needs some updates and fixing of things

I chose this motel due to affordability however, for me, it was like stepping back to the past. The way it sets is almost like being in the woods even though its on a major road. They don't have key cards they have a good old fashioned key with the room number on it so to me, that was cool. The yard and pond look exactly like the pictures and would be a nice place to sit at night. Now for the room, understand I am not complaining cause I loved it but for you, the bathroom door didn't fully close, sgower curtain in the bathroom needs changing and there were some small cob webs in the corners, for me, I found everything nastalgic so it didn't bother me at all. Oh and my husband absalutely loved the lady in the office lol

It felt like home with outside seating by a fire pit right on the lake, friendly staff, dog-friendly, and a comfortable room. I felt very safe and comfortable as a young woman traveling alone with her dog.

The motel is very quaint and quiet, but had very old furniture, bedspread, and a/c unit. It seemed clean but there was an unpleasant odor and I couldn't figure out how to open the very old wooden window (maybe my fault). It was ok. Not terrible but not great. A typical old "up north" motel! I never saw a person for check-in or check out. They left me the key, and I had to drop it off in a box at 9am the next morning because there still wasn't anyone in the office.

Yuck! Not only was the smell of marijuana absolutely overwhelming, there was also bed bugs! Marijuana usually doesn’t bother me but my god it was just too much. The last straw was finding a bed bug. Packed our stuff and immediately left. Would not recommend. The pictures shown online are misleading as well. The room was not anything like what is pictured.

Very friendly staff. The outside was well kept and quiet. Close to everything West Branch has to offer. The room itself had a distinctive motel smell when we first arrived. But was very clean and comfy.
