The view especially sunset was awesome. Lovely quiet location. Many beautiful birds in the morning comfortable beds. Restaurant had good reasonably priced food hosts very friendly 😃

Steep road up to location

Great food, fabulous views. Very attentive hosts. pool is wonderful.

A few more basics in the rooms. Night table, reading light, hand towels, somewhere to hang clothes.

Host was incredibly kind and helpful. Told us things to go see and arranged transportation for us. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was great, cooked fresh and delicious. Free coffee and breakfast every morning.

Awesome location- Best accomodation for an hour drive in either direction.

Awsome stay Great staff and cute little spot

Our time at Villas Del Sol was a highlight of our vacation. The view is truly breathtaking and the villa was private and comfortable. The hosts, a lovely couple, make every effort to make your stay comfortable (even cutting some fresh aloe vera plant to put on our sunburns :) The breakfast is delicious fueling you for adventures in nearby seafood and swimming paradise Tehua, or for an afternoon at Lover's Beach in Mayto both 5 minute drives away. The sunset was truly spectacular to witness from the Villa and long walks on the 12km beach below were amazing. It truly is a special place to visit and we hope to return to this paradise again someday! There is a bar and dinner menu available at the property and relaxed places to meet the other guests if you like (although relaxing solitude is also possible--which is important for me on vacation). We made friends with another couple and enjoyed talking with the hosts! If you are a nature lover and truly want to get away from it all you won't regret visiting Villas del sol!

Not negative but just FYI. We rented a car for 7 days from Gecko in order to make the trip to this property. The road is passable but drive slow due to the potholes. There is a bus which comes to Mayto and you could probably figure it out but renting from Gecko was painless and we enjoyed the road trip. It's worth it to rent even just to travel out to this property. A communal kettle on the property to make hot beverages at any time is the only thing we would recommend although there was coffee in the mornings. We absolutely loved our stay.

Loved the breakfast and delicious! We were always given a choice of breakfast and no matter what we requested, it was always delicious!

The road to get to the property was very bad with numerous pot holes which made the car trip very slow.
