Bastien the owner is Really Great. Good guy. Good cook. The view is Really Great. Ocean view. Very calm and peaceful and relaxing.

No Air conditioning and it gets Really Hot. Pillows need to be upgraded. We found a scorpion in our room.

Wonderful brand new property. Owner could not have been more hospitable. Air conditioning would have been a nice addition. Overall, highly recommended!

Villas Del Sol, although not on the beach, it has some of the best views of the beach, sunset and the two towns from the mountain Vista. Host is very friendly and speaks English as well. He can even arrange fishing or a massage. Restaurant and bar onsite as well open 8 am to 10 pm. Keep in mind no air conditioning but rooms cool down at night with windows open. Bring hair dryer and wash clothes if you use them.

We loved our quick getaway to thhis un-touristy coast just southwest of the bustle of PV. We were looked after very well by our hosts, with excellent help from their 2 boys. Room was spacious and comfortable affording views of the coast overlooking the pool. The extra fan was terrific, and luckily the breeze blew most of the nights. Great time to visit leading up to XMAS and beyond. Bastion prepared a lovely Desayuno and was a welcome suprise, which is not how most other places operate these days, with only little interaction and maximum returns. This is a true Bed and Breakfast escape, with meals (and cold cerveza's) served on request through the day. Fantastic location, high above the coastline below. Views to the South were awesome, looking down from the wonderful pool towards the unpopulated and undeveloped Jalisco beaches, perfect setting. The setting, surounding area make for a superb place to wind down, relax and get away from the noises of Mexico (which are great most of the time). Thanks for the stay Cheers Adam n Tanya

Nothing much... but be warned the road from El Tuito is pretty slow due to the (big) potholes randomly placed over the journey to the coast. Good luck, take it slow and take care

The property is clean, Bastian was very accomodating changing rooms for us upon arrival. Excellent, if you want a quiet relaxing time, away from large noisy resorts. The wifi is excellent! They use starlink and much better than other resorts we have stayed at in the area in past. Meals onsite were good, breakfast provided was good and if you want to get out to try others not a problem. Excellent pool. Beautiful panoramic view of the ocean and surrounding area. Beautiful empty beaches in the area but water is pretty rough for swimming. . Nearby town Tehumixtle (sp) is good for seafood and swimming. Excellent for ATVing on beaches.

No fault of any of the resorts in the area but the roads in are always a challenge. They are "paved" but always under repair. It's an hour drive in from the highway. Should be about half that time. Coffee is instant - yech! Maybe in high season its freshly brewed. Defintely think AC is a must in the summer knowing how hot and humid this area gets.

We loved our time here. Kindest host family that was very friendly and helpful. Unbeatable views on a quiet stretch of coast. Super relaxing place. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for tranquility in a little known part of Mexico.

The location is fantastic, on a top of a hill overlooking a gorgeous 7 km stretch of pristine beach. There are a few spanking-new bungalows around a common area. The infinity pool is wonderful. The hosts were great. Go there before this part of Costallegre gets spoiled (probably soon, as there is an airport in the works). You can arrange for dinner with the host - I was treated to a ceviche that could feed a large family. All in all, a wonderful experience. The little village 5 km away offers, well, a restaurant and 2 mini-stores, so not a party location (yet).

The property is brand new, with still a few kinks, mainly lack of AC due to some grid problems, in the works according to the owner. I would like a more intimate lighting rather than overhead. Could use more hooks / shelves etc. in the bathroom and toilet, but even Hilton can't seem to get it right (People need places to put stuff). All this is a minor non-issue. The pool, the view, worth a million.

The staff - Bastian and his family (owners), Brenden was exceptional ! The site - the view is truly incredible. The pool is divine - better than expected. Breakfast included was absolutely delicious. Hamacs at events bungalow to relax - nice added touch.

The project is still very young and a few details in-rooms will evolve and will make bungalow a bit more « complete » for stays of 3 or more nights. The property site is beautiful and worth the trip. Be advised the road to get there is « off the beaten path » and feels like a « rodeo »! of course this has no link to the rental itself. It’s a great place to « unplug » from everyday life and ligue around fabulous pool. The ocean in this area is not swimmable. Quite deep and currents are to strong. > Enjoy the pool !
