Centrio Fira Suites

There was an emergency situation with an earthquake and thousands evacuating. Airlines refunded nonrefundable flights and travelers who were in Santorini were required to avoid any areas near water or dangers of rockslides: areas where tourists visiting would have wanted to experience. The hotel refused to refund the deposit, even under these dire circumstances.

Very nice spacious apartment with a good kitchen and nice bathroom with a shower. The room I was in had the bed upstairs in a loft open to the living room.

The apartment is on a road that gets some noisy traffic from busses, cars blasting music, or motorcycles. There was also an odd smell that I couldn't air out which is either the cleaning supplies they use or an attempt to cover up another odor. It was strong enough I could taste it after spending the evening in there though. Also, the bathroom faucet and towel rack came apart on me but they fixed those promptly.

Honestly, it was a perfect stay for me and my wife, Very Clean, Good WIFI, Nice shower & a comfy bed. Very spacious, with loads of light and a nice kitchen, we had a decent fridge and even managed to cook dinner a couple of times. Aircon was great. The location was the best part, Realy close to Everything, restaurants and a bus station just nearby, only 5 min from the main Viewpoints, just perfect I must say. We went for walks and then got back to chill on a hot day, then went out for dinner again in the evening as it's very close. Some nice food places like the Pelican just 1 min away, was so good we went 3 times, relatively cheap and very nice vibe. My wife liked this hotel so much she made me write all this :))) Enjoy

Parking in Fira is challenging, you can park outside the hotel but only if someone didn't park on the street already, however just 2 min down the road there is a big free parking, we parked there, it felt more safe as no one driving there and wont scratch your rented car. and was relatively close to the hotel, just 2 min walk. Renting a car was a great idea as we had the fredome to drive to Oia before the crouds and go to the beaches, Acrotiri and lighthouse. Also Going to Lidl was comfortable.

Such a lovely room, clean kitchen, perfect location right near the centre, 5 mins to bus stop, 5 mins to the view and 1 minute to food places. Host was helpful and replied lots.

Nothing, was perfect!

Great location. Just a couple of blocks from Fira's main square and bus terminal. Walking distance to everything in town, including many restaurants, car rentals, souvenir shops and the great views. A laundry shop is literally next door and a mini market, a few steps away on the opposite side of the street. There is free street parking right in front of the property, but usually taken + traffic is a little crazy, so we decided to park at a safer, large, free parking lot situated 1 block down the street. No problems there.

We felt communication could have been better. They said we would receive the code to access the property keys on the day of arrival. Not the case. It was already 1am when we finally got there and we had not yet received the code, despite the multiple messages sent. Eventually they replied with the code and everything was fine. In the bathroom, the open shower lets water splash all over; no big deal, just be prepared for a wet floor. Mattresses were comfortable, but the sofa-bed a bit noisy. A minimum of two additional luggage racks upstairs would be nice, as there is no place for luggage other than the floor. Actually, the only pieces of furniture in the bedroom are the bed and two night tables, that's it. No coat hooks, or hangers, or anything.
