Homestead Hillsborough

Loved everything about the property! Very spacious, nice attention to detail. Suitable for my toddler and wheel chair accessible for my friend. Everything that was needed was there and nice little touch to have milk in the fridge and teabags in the container after a day of traveling and getting there late. It’s quiet, well located if you have a car. The apartment was big, two bathrooms, lounge and kitchenette but access to a fully equipped kitchen. Everywhere was very clean. Lovely venue

The only thing is that the doors tend to slam shut and it can get loud at times with people coming and going.

Unfortunately there was no one to meet us on arrival as the host/owner had left for holiday on the same day, although she did answer our phone calls we were still confused about where our room was, we ended up just taking a room with an open door that looked clean. This did make a bad impression on us. Also looking round the communal areas there seemed to be a lot of unfinished work. When we booked we were given the impression there was tea and coffee in the rooms and there wasn’t there was a communal kitchen, and in the room we took there would have been plenty of room for a tea & coffee station. Also with the doors being so heavy they slammed shut and this was very loud especially as on one of the nights there were other guests coming and going well into the early hours keeping us awake, they could do with soft close attachments on them

Central location, easy access to Belfast and other activities

Everything was excellent, we had no issues.
