Cozy Coastal Getaway

Location was very good for visiting. Property was very clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable and good WIFI.

Bathroom light was temperamental but host was made aware of this so hopefully fixed. Thermostat for heating was not working but thankfully it was not very cold when we were there. The host was aware of this also.

The apartment was clean and had everything you needed. The location was good for reachng local amenities, the beach is 1.2 miles away. The apartment itself is great value for money. The owner left nice touches like biscuits, water and crisps.

Unfortunately the apartment smelt of stale smoke from the occupants downstairs. The landlord can't help this but I feel it needs mentioning. The downstairs occupants are also loud with 2 big dogs. The apartment is on a main road not in the best area, woke up to all of the bus stops smashed on a Friday night.

Lovely apartment, very well appointed and comfy. We had problems with the TV streaming the first night, but our hosts came and changed the tv and streaming service the next morning.. left a lovely box of chocolate biscuits, what a thoughtful touch! Thank you x

The stairs are very steep and as I was staying with my dad and his dog (both of whom are elderly!) it was a worry every time we entered or left the apartment.

Cleanliness and comfort

Very comfortable and well equipped flat with easy access to both North Shields and Tynemouth Metro stations.

The neighbours who lived in the downstairs flat were a little noisy on the day of our arrival but we didn't hear them on subsequent days during our stay.
