AGONDA ISLAND VIEW

We loved everything. The staff were so kind and helpful and we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast and the wide range of choice. Our room was beautiful, the wood inside was a lovely touch and both the room and bathroom were spacious. We also really appreciated the gift of a cake on new year's eve--such a wonderful touch!

Fabulous Best location super clean rooms, on the beach, best and polite staff. Restaurant menu is quite affordable, tasty and service is excellent, great job!

Nothing , everything exceeded my expectations, I had a lovely time and would recommend it to anyone going to Agonda .

Everything was top class. The room, the service, the hospitality from the receptionist to the owner. The place is really nice, you can come and go anytime. Even lat at night when we took a walk on the beach and our cottages were easy to spot due to the district pink light.

Food quality is not good. The kitchen staff and the one who is serving are fully drunk. Poor service from the restaurant side .

Best location , clean property and very quite when you come for peace of mind this is the property you have to visit nothing negative but Before booking i went to some reviews regarding the property to mention one review which was negative i think that lady was absent minded totally. What ever she wrote was totally opposite we found the room plus property is awesome And i would like to thank the owner for replying back to this bulls__t guest hats off to the owner Food at the restaurant is good and very reasonable as compared to other nearby outlets Once again great will visit again Thank you Jeslyn at reception and Anthony for their hospitality

SEA FACING HOTEL RIVER NEARBY

PRBLEM IS NO NEARBY MARKET PLACES SO LONG TRAVELLING ROADS ARE TOO SMALL IF YOU DONT TAKE A DRINK , PEOPLE IN RESTURANTS DONT GIVE MUCH VALUE

Location - the only good thing

Staff - we were taking a nap one afternoon, the staff knocked for cleaning and we tried to ask them to leave but they forcibly opened the door to get inside to clean. So if you are inside the room, the staff can enter anytime to clean. For reference, the property provided big hanging locks to lock the door from outside so the staff was aware that we were inside. The washroom is horrible. There are no towel rails for hand towel. The door knobs of the washroom are so dirty that you feel like washing your hands after touching them. The voltage at the property is regulated very well to benefit the owner. Between 2 am and 6 am the voltage is so low that you cant even charge your phone, forget using the air conditioner in the room. I would suggest you book keeping in mind that there is no air conditioner.

The best part of the resort is that it is located right on the beach. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Meals in the restaurant while admiring the waves is a fabulous experience. Service by Deepak and his team at the restaurant is quite good. One can enjoy delicious barbecues in the evening in the open while admiring the stars. The resort is next to the backwaters. I would recommend a boat ride in the backwaters. I spotted many birds including Kingfishers, Drongo, Palm Swift... Seeing the fiddler crabs doing a mating dance was a rare treat. Most of all, I loved the quiet beach without the noise one gets to hear in many of the other popular tourist beaches. Great to see the guards protecting the Olive Ridley Sea Turtles when they come to nest.
