Beds were comfy but not clean kitchen had good facilities

Dirty noisy loud reception till early hours so no sleep for us

The women's shower room is nice, clean, well-equipped, and well-lit. The dining and kitchen areas are also great—well-equipped, clean, and with a pleasant atmosphere and plenty of tables and chairs. Free breads are also available. Good location, very closed to Dean Village.

There are not enough women's restrooms for all the guests, the toilet in upstairs is broken. So, in the morning, we had to queue for quite a long time to use the toilet. Meanwhile, at night, I had to walk quite a long way down the stairs to get to the toilet. The bottom bunk was too low, so we had to stoop to move around while on the bed. We didn't get free towels like we usually do at hotels or Airbnbs.

The location allowed us to visit Edinburgh mostly by walking (20min from city centre). It was possible to leave the bags previous to check in even though it is in a place where there's a sign saying that they aren't responsible for the things. It is possible to do late check in as the reception is open for 24 hours. The girl that made check in for us on the night of the 19th was extremely nice making it possible for us to charge our phones (that is the kind of detail that makes a difference!)

A 20min à pied du centre ville donc plutôt bien placé, les chambres privées sont spacieuses et le lit très confortable. Mise à disposition d’une cafetière avec thé et café. Les espaces communs sont propres et grands.

Personnels très peu aimable, à la limite du désagréable, l’accueil est à amélioré fortement !

Ok it was in old church was unusual but shows what can be done with old buildings also some nice river walks near by you can walk to villages very nice

It was hard to find I think if they said not far from Haymarket near st Mary's cathedral would be helpful for people

Well equipped hostel, good facilities, nice kitchen and common area, unique atmosphere as it is in a rennovated church.

One of the staff members didn't seem too bothered, no effort to be friendly or engage with me as I checked out. They will do the bare minimum. Not reccomendable for cyclists as they have no dedicated storage either

It was a fun place to experience. Very creative in how they converted a church into a place of rest for the masses. Electric outlets and lockers available for each sleeping space. It also had a great kitchen and dining facility.
