The Beach Rose Inn

Do not try to walk to the beach. You are basically walking along a highway with no sidewalk

The staff was there upon checking and called beforehand from a number I didn’t pick up as it came up as scam. The front door was locked and the keys had to be used to get in both front door and room. Staff wasn’t available during stay at times to answer questions about amenities (tv wasn’t working at night). For the price and not needing fancy, it was average. It would be better with an overall upgrade to the property in general.

I loved the room and service very clean and comfortable

Lobby is cute. Ice is available 24hrs. Easy access to room through sliding glass door. Carpet in room was dirty. Open electric box on ceiling. Drapes needed hooks adhered properly. Bath room was clean but no water pressure in shower. Right on busy street but didn't hear road noise. Shopping plaza right out back and beach about a mile away.

We had room 101. Quaint place lobby is lovely. (but of course I didn't take pics of that) Don't sit on the blue chair you will fall to the floor. The carpet was dirty and the drapes would be an easy fix. For the price we paid on a summer Saturday night I wouldn't complain too much. Location is great right on Rt 1 with Hannaford right out back. Mile road to Wells beach 1 motel over. Mike's Clam shack very close as well. Easy fixes fix the way the drapes are hanging, shampoo the carpet and put a cover on exposed alarm. Toilet is low. Coffee pot and microwave in lobby only. They do have ice, tissues and cool soap.

Not a place I care to return to. Mediocre experience

Awful staff- rude! The room smelled! The fire alarm went off in our room while my husband was in the shower. Awful place!

The stay was just okay. It was cheap and the beds for were comfortable. The carpets were a little dirty which grossed me out but the bathroom was clean and not old. It’s quiet for being on a main road.
