The Flintshire - North Wales - Sleeps Up To 9

Location was ideal for shopping and central for family visiting. Living and dining room was ideal. Downstairs toilet was a good addition especially with having a disabled person with us. Bathroom had everything you needed. Safe area outside for our puppies. Lots of places to walk the puppies. Bedrooms were ideal size. Lovely addition of a washing machine, dishwasher and a full size fridge/freezer and a microwave.

Kitchen could of had more cupboard space for food especially when staying for more than a couple of days. Cooker wasn't as pictured so made it difficult for cooking the Christmas Dinner (had to buy a slow cooker). Spoke to owners about the cooker and they explained the reason it had been changed. The beds were very hard to sleep on. Maybe the option of a mattress topper to make it more comfortable. Also lack of hanging space for clothes in all bedrooms. There was a hanging hook on wall but only two hangers on each which made it very difficult when staying for a week. The room with the double/single bunk bed may be better placed in the four single bedded room instead of room it is in (just a personal opinion) as it felt very claustrophobic. There was a dog barking every time they let it out in garden behind property. Sometimes late into the night which then started the puppies barking in the house.

The property was located on a main road and easy to find. Good instruction for key and plenty of off road parking. Everything well explained. Property had everything we needed and the washing machine was a bonus. Very clean, tidy and well presented. Care was taken with the set up of the property. Lovely and warm with good hot water supply. Very good place to stay.

The mattress on the back double bed could do with a mattress topper as you could feel the springs as you turned over.

Size

Beds are really uncomfortable double bed is 2 singles pushed together my partner is pregnant and fell through a hole in the floor where a floorboard is missing and has carpet over the top

Very clean and tidy. Great communication from the team and made the check in and check out process very easy. Parking on site was convenient as well. Nice location as it’s within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Not enough wall sockets for phone chargers etc, change existing to double with USB would be a simple upgrade

Mattress in double bedroom very poor, feel all the springs, no mattress protector on the bed. Needs minimum of mattress protector and a good thick topper to improve the comfort
