Good comfortable accommodation.

Good sized accomodation, lots of space for parking. Nicely decorated overall and clean. Tea, coffee and sugar and milk provided.

Whilst the furniture was nice on the whole, some of it needed some TLC as some of it was a bit rough around the edges i.e. the chairs on the table had paint missing. The double bed is made up of two single beds and you can feel where they join, one of the head boards on one side had slipped so they were misaligned, I think the one that had dropped needs screwing back into place. The other bed that was used (one of the single ones was fine though!) Road noise was fine but there was a dog in the neighbouring property that was outside and barking overnight. Upstairs toilet makes loud noise when flushing. Some other basics such as salt and pepper and cling film would be useful.

There was a lot of room and we all had a great stay

The house was 10 min walk from the function we were attending. Lots of beds!! We only ended up going with 5 of us so plenty of choice of where to sleep. Loads of private parking. House had essential extras like teabags, dishwasher tablets and instructions for the property.

The upstairs toilet made a really loud noise when it was flushed and filled up but the downstairs toilet was fine. This was only an issue when someone went the loo at 5am

No hot water upstairs although shower fine as it was electric. Floor length mirror in one of the bedrooms would have been useful. Oven small for up to 9 guests as was the bedroom allocation.

Convenient. Good set up for a family for short stay on way to ferry.

Mattresses weren’t the most comfortable but all generally fine.

We were a group of 8 cyclists and the property met our needs well. Just a couple of points…

There weren’t enough chairs for us all to sit around the dining table. There was no hot water in the evening to wash up. We boiled the kettle instead. There was hot water in the morning so I think the timer just needs setting.

Location great for picking up shopping for the stay. Literally a short walk to Aldi. Lots of local takeaways on the doorstep. Brilliant for a family to stay in - we stayed the night before a family wedding so perfect for relaxing. Plenty of parking.
