Penny Williamsburg

I really enjoyed my stay at the Penny. The rooms were more spacious than a typical NYC hotel room, had a refrigerator and a microwave, and also had some fitness equipment for use during our stay. The price was incredibly reasonable for NYE, and the location was convenient and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here and think it would be an ideal "home base" for travelers staying for longer durations.

Nice hotel with a good vibe in a great location. Lovely view out our window and walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants, metro stops and bars. Bed was super comfortable, although someone does have to sleep against a wall. Well set up with coffee and microwave.

Shower leaked onto floor so there was a lot of water the first time but adjusted where we put towels after to reduce it. There was only one set of cutlery.

Nice room and good price for Williamsburg. Communication was a little tricky early on, but the staff did accommodate once we got closer. Great location near many popular spots. Our room was also surprisingly quiet, which is rare in any city.

Favorite hotel I've stayed at in NYC. Homey and fun decor + clean rooms + friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant on the roof is also great and will bring food down for room service. Close to Bedford subway stop, just one stop from Manhattan without all the hustle and bustle and noise that you get when staying in Manhattan. Will be my first choice stay for all future visits to the city

The Penny offers a delightful experience with its clean, cozy ambiance and its location in the hipster neighborhood of Williamsburg is super close to the city. Highly recommend!

Prime location, everything is walking distance. 24/7 lobby staff. All the employees are helpful. Rooms are clean and well equipped: fridge, microwave, blower, and extra perks like yoga mat and umbrella. I love the adjustable lighting and blinds!!! The neighborhood is safe and nice. The Penny is my home away from home!

Excellent location - friendly front desk staff -beautiful view from restaurant on top floor . Very deceiving photographs ,lack of clarity of charges incurred into the bills example : charging upfront for deduction later . Dollar sign is omitted from pastries presented as if they are complimentary ,but they are not ,plus a tip and taxes over pastries that are self serve. The glass frosted sliding doors for the bathroom were something to get used to - very small spaces.
