Yorkshire view lodge

Very clean peaceful

It was perfect for a trip away as a family plenty of room for 4 adults and a baby. Quiet site and only a 20 minute drive from the centre of York.

Lovely and clean!

WiFi is definitely needed, did get signal though which is good and rare!

Amazing lodge, fully equipped with everything for your stay. Cleaned to a high standard, we found a lovely pub that did food around the corner called the half moon, definitely recommended

The property was well equipped with everything that you need, was spacious and the hot tub was an amazing bonus!!

Nothing really, it was exceptionally cold when we arrived as there was a fault on the boiler due to low pressure but we resolved the issue ourselves so wasn’t a big problem.

The Lodge was to a high standard, which is my standard, it was quiet and I could hear the birds, the hot tub was a delight, everywhere was clean, it was equipped with everything you would need and more, even down to sellotape!

It was perfect, I wouldn't change a thing.

Really disappointed as the hot tub was freezing! Managed to use it once on the final day but really was not warm enough to be used. This was the main reason for booking the lodge so a huge disappointment on my birthday weekend trip.

The actual decor is quiet nice it’s just let down by the cleanliness and faults

We booked it mainly for the hot tub which was mucky and so acidic it was unusable the lodge had lots of faults the knob on the cooker would come off when you tried to use it door handle jams so doesn’t close properly light in back bedroom needed a bulb so didn’t have light in there ect I contacted the owner to sort the hot tub was told the cleaners would come sort it I don’t no what they did as we was out for the day but it made it even worse

Location and instructions were excellent. Very clean. Lots of space. Jacuzzi was welcomed. Lots of pots and pans. Good freezer. Washer drier. Excellent kitchen

The sofa-bed was uncomfortable, possibly mostly due to lack of bedding for it. We had to sleep on the floor. Every industrial cleaning product under the sun but no washing up liquid or bin bags. Called "Yorkshire view" but only a view of other static vans. Unexpected noisy building work on 3 sides blowing dust everywhere, so we couldn't sit outside on the Saturday. Once all the site is covered in static vans this will be an unimaginative crowded caravan site.

I went with my family of 5 to yorkshire View Lodge and found that the lodge was very spacious, clean, and very well equipped. It was about a 15 min drive into York so was in a good area.
