Yorkshire view lodge

The lodge was comfortable and well equipped and very clean. The hot tub was a huge bonus - especially liked by the children. The site is well maintained and quiet.

As mentioned by a previous reviewer, it would be really helpful to have an information pack in the lodge. There was no information about local facilities- I had to Google pubs in the area for meals out. For future visitors- we went to the Odd Fellows Arms in Wilberfoss and it was very good.

Lovely lodge, very spacious and all furnishings/decor to a very high standard and beds were really comfortable. Hot tub was fab. We had a great stay, felt like home.

We loved everything really with no complaints and would definitely come back but maybe a general information pack regarding rubbish/recycling and transport links might be helpful. However only a 10 minute drive to grimston bar park and ride to get into York and a small walk to the local pub.

The lodge was very stylish and clean, and cozy... Had everything we needed. Peace and quiet was just what we needed. Jacuzzi is a bonus.

Lovely lodge every thing you need . I'll be recommending, nice and piece full . If you want to go and relax this is the place to do it. Not ar from york city and a spot maxi Chinese.

Leaving, should of booked a few more nights

Loved the location neatly nestled away in the Yorkshire countryside, so quiet with little disruption from neighbouring lodgers. The interior was neat and stylish with a homely feeling. Very comfortable beds in the 2 x bedrooms. The hot tub is a great asset that stayed on throughout our stay.

There was no welcome pack when we arrived. This would have been helpful when trying to figure out how to use the dishwasher which didn’t seem to run at all, and also how to use the hot tub. Also, says it can sleep 6 but the sofa bed would realistically only sleep 1 x adult or 2 x children.

The lodge was spacious,clean, and comfortable with everything needed for a self-catering break. The hot tub was lovely although water temp dropped on second night and no instructions to help with this. So instructions would be helpful. The view will be gone soon as lodges are being built directly behind so it will be quite boxed in which is a pity as it does have a photo of a field behind it .

Lodges very close together, working began on the ground at the rear so electric and hot water turned off from 9am we didn't have to check out until 10.30am ! This inconvenient. And the photo from the from the front will need updating as I say building work behind now.
