Guests arriving after midnight should call the hostel in advance, between 09:00 and 18:00 to arrange entry and check-in. Reception hours are from 8:00 to 00:00 (8am - midnight). If you plan to arrive outside these hours, please email the hostel on dundeebackpackershostel@gmail.com. Full payment will be taken at this time, and instructions regarding collection of keys and location of rooms will be emailed to you. Please note that the hostel will charge a 3% fee for non-European Economic Area (EEA) cards.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Great private single room experience"

The private single room was delightful! Surprisingly spacious and equipped with a private bathroom with shower. All was clean and comfortable. The little tea tray was a welcome addition. The location is unbeatable.

Hallway noises transmitted through the door; this was remedied with ear plugs.

Amazing to stay in this old building. Lovely hostel, well run with friendly staff. Lots of communal areas to relax in. Will return.

The beds, bedding and room were superbly comfy and quiet. The common areas for entertainment and nourishment were cozy and extremely welcoming.

The hygiene facilities were a bit cramped and a little messy.
