Guests arriving after midnight should call the hostel in advance, between 09:00 and 18:00 to arrange entry and check-in. Reception hours are from 8:00 to 00:00 (8am - midnight). If you plan to arrive outside these hours, please email the hostel on dundeebackpackershostel@gmail.com. Full payment will be taken at this time, and instructions regarding collection of keys and location of rooms will be emailed to you. Please note that the hostel will charge a 3% fee for non-European Economic Area (EEA) cards.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

Dundee Backpackers is excellent value for money. The staff are five star. Immaculate hostel. I will always use this hostel when I visit Dundee.

"I would definitely stay here again"

Location is perfect. It is so close to so many shops and Eatin places five minute walk to the bus. The cleanliness is so super clean. I love the little touches of the flowers. Just choose the place up because it is still raining and wet outside. Seeing a beautiful blooms was just cool. Made me feel happy. The kitchen was well maintained and very clean. Plenty of room for everybody’s food. babe was very comfortable and the room was very warm.

Really was perfect. I didn’t like paying an extra 5 pounds just for a Friday night. The only downside has nothing to do with the backpackers. It’s just because I’m a smoker going outside to have a cigarette. I just got harassed constantly by homeless people and drug people got a pound got a smoke?
