Dundee Backpackers Hostel

Brilliant location. Restored old building full of history. Great facilities – kitchen and dining, multiple seating areas, games room, quiet reading room.

Too few bathrooms for sharing. Having at least one separate toilet with basin (not with shower) per area would help. Expensive single room by hostel standards, but a fair size with good heating.

Overall I found the hostel experience good especially the kitchen, bathroom and common areas. It was comfortable overall,.

The bedroom was ok but I personally did not find the bunk beds as good.

The backpackers was super cosy and comfortable. I was closer to the city and Chris, the staff, was incredibly cool and professional. It was my first time in Dundee and I loved it. I definitely recommend Backpackers! ☺️

The room was clean and well-maintained. There is a shared kitchen available, and nice break-out / lounge areas.

It was a little cold in the room during the night - I didn't want to leave the radiators turned on throughout the night. Also a little noisy outside but I did bring earplugs.
