In den Reviews las ich von tollem Essen, leider ist das Restaurant nur in den Sommermonaten geöffnet. Dafür konnte man in der gut ausgestatteten Gästeküche kochen.

Historic, charming, really nice pub with fireplace, loved the grounds, great breakfast, access to kitchen facilities was helpful.

A bit remote and a bit expensive

Situation un peu à l’écart mais belle ancienne demeure et paysage magnifique alentour. Accueil très sympathique de l’hôte et personnel extrêmement serviable. Possibilité d’utiliser une cuisine équipée avec réfrigérateur et vaisselle à disposition (appréciable hors saison quand le pub attenant ne propose pas à manger - pas de restauration à proximité immédiate).

Un petit déjeuner continental correct, sans plus (produits très basiques), un peu décevant par rapport au prix de la nuitée.

Prachtige locatie, lekkere bedden, vriendelijk personeel. Charmant gebouw en interieur.

Het gebouw is ondanks dat het charmant is, wel erg verouderd. In het plafond zitten grote scheuren en een lekkage. Het heeft dus wel een update nodig.

My friend and I stayed over the Easter holidays and had the most amazing time! The house is the ultimate cozy retreat—the bathroom and room were modern while still retaining their historic charm. The history is literally written on the walls, telling the story of the estate. The sofas in the lounge are incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast provided the perfect start to the day. The pub adjacent to it is an amazing place not only to meet fellow travellers but also to mingle with locals enjoying traditional music sessions. As an added bonus, we couldn’t hear any of the laughter or music once we were in our room! Additionally, the staff, as well as the owner we encountered, were exceptional. My friend and I travel a lot, but we have never felt so comfortable within minutes of stepping through the door. They bring a warmth to the place that is truly unmatched.

The only downside was having to leave!
