Food was great..people were very friendly

Unfortunately we mis understood the type of property it was we should have known that it was basically wilderness and we are people in our eighties without a car and with walking difficulties. Even so, we enjoyed our holiday.

Breakfast great as was rest of limited menu. Quiet and away from it all. Nice pool. Staff could not have been nicer or more accomadating.

Had to get taxi to it. But owner kindly dropped us back to town. There is pretty much nothing else here and nowhere else to eat after @5pm. There is still building work so not as pretty as expected.

I loved the jungle location along the river, away from the noise! The hosts were exceptional, lovely people. I felt well cared for. Friends for life! I was shuttled into town. Room was great with a rooftop terrace. The heated pool is gorgeous!! I loved the dogs. I loved everything about my stay!

The owner and all the personal of the hotel were really friendly. I arrived in the middle of the night and they waited for me. The pool is amazing, and the best part is that water is warm. I had a big room just for me, the bed was comfortable. One other thing worth mentioning is the sculptures around the gardens of the hotel, I had the feeling to be in an open museum. I definitely recommend this place and I hope I can come back soon. I really enjoyed my stay!!

Due the location is complicated arrive late, but once you go there it is worthwhile because is a beautiful hotel. If you rent a car is not a problem.

We loved Amaría Villas. Trevor and his staff we super friendly, helpful and a pleasure to hang out with. Amaría Villas is a hidden gem. We will certainly visit again.

First of all, place was unattended! I tried calling the phone number provided by Expedia which was a number from grand prairie TX ??? Place looked unkept, pretty much in the middle of nowhere and unsafe.

Huge deep and heated pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful atmosphere. Good prices,no insect problems Disco show area unique. Wonderful little villas. Easy to make friends. Something to discover in every corner. Trevor the manager and his staff are really helpful.

The access road is a challenge. Best with own transport.

This is a great place away from the city. If you want to take a break from Puerto Vallarta and relax in the jungle it is definitely for you. The owners and staff are great - we didn't have a car so they drive us to the bus stop several times. They serve delicious drinks and food. Another plus is the swimming pool.

Only downside is not very well cleaned room, there was a lot of dust in some places. If they improve it, this place will be close to perfect :-)
