"Loved the resort but the staff was poor."

Well kept property. Rooms were great and amenities. Great decor in the restaurants.

Staff was unfriendly and not good. Coffee shop attendant was on her phone texting. Server in Italian restaurant was slow and unmotivated. We were the first ones to eat so its not like it was crowded.

Prestine resort with an exceptiknal staff that makes you feel like family.

No beach. High pressure do go to a "sales brunch" for 1+ hour so they can try to sell you a 30k time share.

Breakfast was good, lunch was good at the license to chill bar and also the daily 1pm lunch is good. Dinner at the restaurants is mediocre apart from the Italian. Best food for dinner is the Italian imo. Room was good and clean - the TVs are smart but the hotel don’t allow you to connect to mirror your phone so you have to pay to watch movies on the tv which is not acceptable based on the cost of the hotel. Day time entertainment was good - very up beat.

Evening entertainment not much too do, only the land shark is open till 1am which only play rock music. There is no house music, jazz or up beat bars. As the hotel is pretty remote you can’t walk anywhere unfortunately. You have to get a cab to Cancun for later entertainment cab is around £30 there £50 back

"Everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay"

This is a smaller resort, which we loved. Even though it was full, it rarely felt crowded and we never really waited for any service. As a family resort, they do a good job of providing spaces that suit both kids and adults. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and had a beautiful view. There was a nice variety of food and the quality quite good and consistent. The tacos are a standout. The activities and events staff were particularly great. We had a wonderful feast on the beach for Christmas - delicious!

DO NOT book your excursion with Ruta Maya (the company the resort uses). We visited Tulum, a cenotes and swam with turtles. The activities themselves were fine, but our guide and driver were grumpy and seemed bored with the whole process. At the resort it would be great if there were a few more onsite activity options and a bit more sports equipment that was accessible and in good condition. People should know the beach is still covered in seaweed. This is not the resort's fault, and they work tirelessly to clean it up, but travelers should know the beach is not ideal.
