Booking.com advertised the pool was open. The owner confirmed the pool was closed. When I explained I only live a few miles up the road and booked solely for the pool for my grandchildren . Owner said pls book another weekend doesn't matter if the price differs.Ok so I try and book and it was rejected. Now I request a full refund so I can book something else for the children. Phew sorry for the long explanation. Now after several phone calls. Several messages. I've been told yes I'm due a refund. Booking .com have really dragged there feet , I've been waiting 10 days now. Completely not acceptable. Come on Booking.Com.

the £25.00 extra per night per dog charge was not on the website and I was only notified once I had paid for a non refundable room, I tried to cancel but was not able to. I didn’t stay.

At first as we arrived around 4:15pm our room wasn’t ready but the reception sort it out. I tried to call the owner before that but the owner no response till we left. The flat is ok but its a building flat so we have neighbours upstairs and downstairs also at the side. Its like compound of flat not sure how they called. When someone walking upstairs you can hear them badly specially in the night so as our floor, its really not relaxing but frustrating. Having said that, in the restaurant and pub who always have LOADS of people playing Dart day and night also drinking. You will hear them talking and laughing most of the time, reason why the parking is always full. I did email the owner for iron and hair dryer before our booking but no response. When we got there the reception said they don’t provide any of my request. This place is sooo busy. Not recommended if you want peaceful and relaxing place, but the location is really nice as its close to the cafe and Tesco.
