Apartment with Access to Pool Spa & Soft play

The booking on hotels.com stated that the property was pet friendly and dogs stay free. When the booking was confirmed, we were told that pets were £35 per pet and not as advertised. Avoid if you have pets.

Parking space and clean bedsheets only BUT not the duvet.

Only 1 toilet roll for family, hardly any soap NO WASHING UP LEQUID, no kitchen towels!!!, no shower gel!!, only 2 tea bags. You are limited to checking only between 4pm and 5pm, if you not on time for checking you need to ring the number to be able to check in, for number of property they have on site they should be more flexible, available and maybe helpful, they send you 2/3 email a day which you will be bored of reading rather then send one or two email with all useful information. Checking out is by 10 am but 9:45am no one is in reception!! Over all well disappointed with service

Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall.

We paid £340 for 2 nights. For this we got a very nice sized apartment. Our bedroom was big enough to fit the travel cot. The kitchen had everything we needed including tea and coffee. The staff were all lovely. In particular David Cohen who was new but went above and beyond and was just such a happy worker who clearly loves his job. The location was quiet which is essential with a toddler who still naps.

The 4pm check in was a bit of a faff but we set off late and went on a steam train nearby to pass the time. Also I understand booking slots for the pool but no one checked it and 45 minutes isn’t very long. There were no keys for the lockers so we had to take our bags in with us.Ilfracombe harbourside is about 25 minutes on foot and the walk it very steep which was tiring on the way back.
