ROOST Tampa

The location is fantastic. It's walking distance to almost anything and everything. There are a number of wonderful restaurants extremely close and a Publix if you wanted to get food for the room which has all the amenities, including a dishwasher, washing machine and a fabulous coffee maker.

It would be great to have curtains as well as the shades to completely block out the light.

Nice little efficiency close to the cruise port, arena and dining/shopping area. Clean and upscale. The bed was comfortable and kitchen was sufficient. Desk/table was a little small to work on. We'll be back!

Betsy and the front desk staff were amazing. They went above and beyond during my stay. They are a true model of hospitality and graciousness. Lovely place to stay but the team makes it exceptional.

We had the pleasure to stay at the Roost for extended periods over the past 3 years while our new residence was being built and every time we returned (we travel a lot for both business and personal interests) we experienced the emotion of "being home" The location is fantastic- < 5 minute walk to a variety of excellent restaurants and the Benchmark Arena. There is a complimentary Trolley stop a few hundred feet from the ROOST that will take you to YBOR city and other popular downtown destinations. If you enjoy running or walking, a short distance away is Bayshore Blvd where you can enjoy beautiful view while you get in your morning exercise. The amenities are as good as you will find at any 5 star Hotel- a large, fully equipped gym and a enormous heated swimming pool (the best at any resort that we have stayed at) were are our favorite features. There are work spaces and conference rooms available. The property does lack its own food service/restaurant but this was irrelevant for us as there are both quick food service options and fine dining so close by and a publix supermarket is only a 5 minute walk. The rooms are fully appointed and well equipped for longer-term stays. The beds are super comfortable. Both the rooms and the common areas are very well maintained and have a new and/or updated feel to them. Most importantly- the entire team at the ROOST is accommodating and nice. Nice may seem like a trite term; however, sometimes it feels like niceness is lacking in many aspects of our daily lives - NICE does exist at the ROOST. The ROOST TEAM became family to us over the past three years and we will truly miss them. To a person, they are genuinely nice, decent and helpful people.

Amazing location, everything is close by. The pool area is beautiful, the gym is nice as well. The room was clean, everything looked new.
