Muskoka Waterfront Retreat

It is a beautiful location and a good accomodation

Not a lot of info on arrival for seniors not text savvy

We loved the host keeping in touch with us with clear instructions on how to get in etc. The property was clean, we enjoyed a lot.

Nothing.

We were near the fire pit and we got to use it twice so we got lucky.

It was hard to get ahold of staff that were able to do upgrades.

Very nice location. You can do bonfire, do activities and ride a canoe for free and lots of space for kids to play. There's a BBQ in every room.

Mosquitoes. Lots of them. The property should provide mosquito repellents and bug zapper in every room.

-Gorgeous property and views of the Lake -Great check-In/check- out setup -Very clean and true to a cabin in Muskoka feel -Great hot water system -Full kitchen and BBQ is a great bonus -Pet-friendly allowing all family members to be with us on holidays -Indoor fireplace, beautiful and provides warmth -Outdoor firepit- tons of Adirondack chairs provided to sit around and enjoy. Fire pits in the cottage area as well as right on the water. -Had rained and become very icy while we were there. Staff was very attentive to this and sanded our steps early each morning and walkways. -Great pool room, little games area and book nook as well. Quiet and cozy in there so you either have full games going on or quietly read like a library setting

-only negative and it wasn't even that big of a deal to us is the bed was super comfy but was loud when you move. Woke my husband up a couple times throughout the night trying to get out of bed.

Les cabines étaient vétustes et étroites. Avec une sécurité qui se laisse à désirer. Les photos sur le site ne reflètent pas la réalité car c’est pris avec le grand angle. L’odeur de l’humidité est casi présente. Le personnel présent ne peut rien et surtout il contacte les propriétaires que par message et on insistant il les appelle. Au final, la personne a menti en disant que nous l’avons mal parlé et pas respecté alors que nous étions tous respectueux et nous avons demandé de vérifier l’eau chaude et le four qui ne fonctionnait pas. Ils ont dit car nous étions nombreux à prendre la douche et il faut attendre 30 minutes après chaque douche. Quand nous avons dit mais nous n’avons pas pris de douche encore, ils ont inventé l’histoire de non respect du personnel. Sincèrement, il faut revoir l’équipement, les conditions et l’hygiène dans la maison avec des traces d’humidité et de moisissures partout !
