Maple Leaf Inn Lake Placid

I didn't have breakfast. Had to leave really early.

The first code to enter room didn't work. But staff quickly got me in.

My family and I stayed for 1 night, the room was warm, quiet, clean and the beds were very comfortable, plenty of plugs and outlets, mini fridge and microwave. Very close to main street restaurants and shops. It's a perfect very simple room with easy check in and check out.

Maybe an area rug between the beds or at the foot of the bed in the main walk way of the room. Honestly no complaints

TV wasn't working

Needs dresser drawers in the room. Our room became a bit of a whirlwind without them. Also, the contactless check in needs refining. We received an email 20 mins before check in (being from out of country this can be difficult without data!) that was supposed to have our room code. It didn’t and we struggled to get ahold of an employee at first. After this we had zero issues.

My stay was great however I paid in full prior to arriving and they automatically took more money out of the account. So I have been double charged. And not one person has responded to any of my emails messages or calls regarding this. Which is not ok.
